|Occupation||Owner of Caffrey Taffy Company|
|Behind the scenes|
Caffrey seemingly made his fortune on the taffy factory and on bootlegging as Teddy mentions in The Belchies
In Human Flesh, Gene, out of curiosity touches the 'up' button on Mort's lift at It's Your Funeral Home & Crematorium. Doing so elevates Caffrey's casket up on to Ocean Avenue where Speedo Guy bumps in to it accidentally. It then glides towards Bob's Burgers where Linda takes it in believing it to be an anniversary gift from Bob. With Hugo there, she opens it to reveal his corpse, which is unfortunate as Hugo is investigating the restaurant for serving human flesh as claimed by Louise and instantly calls on the media to report that they are serving human flesh.
In The Belchies, Teddy reveals that Caffrey hid his gold in the tunnels under his factory. Not taking it seriously Teddy tells the Belchers about it ending in a prank. Nonetheless the Belcher kids as well as Jimmy Pesto, Jr., Zeke and Andy and Ollie Pesto go looking for the treasure before the factory is demolished. After running free of the factory, and after its demolition, it is revealed that Teddy was in fact right about the gold and that they were hidden in the taffy dummies he created to distract g-men.
In Sea Me Now, Teddy and the Belchers end up stranded on his island after crashing the 'Sea Me Now' into it. After fending off wild cattle, Gardener Nathaniel reveals that Caffrey bought the island for the love of his life, Gwendolyn who never returned his affections and named it How-Boutcha-Love-Me Island. He also reveals that he built the house which he named, "The House That Caffrey Built For Gwendolyn" and imported the Highland longhorn cattle from Scotland as well.
